Design Students

We are winding down from a very productive semester. The students have impressed me again and again with their designs. Above is a hand drawn type project, “I saw the end.”

I noticed something this semester that I haven’t witnessed as much as I have in the past. The considerate nature and the willingness to support each other has been off the charts. I ask myself…what has changed? Why is this semester verses others in the past different? Do they see the hate in the world and want to make a difference?

I don’t have the answer, but all I know is it warms my heart. Not only are we producing great designers, we are caring for one another.

Today, my gratitude is for my students. I am thankful for them as individuals and for their compassion towards others.
